Reconstitution Calculator

Dial in your dose

Enter your vial size, the bacteriostatic water you added and your target dose. The calculator does the math. Educational use only; it draws no dosing recommendations of its own.

The formula

How the math works

01
concentration = mg ÷ mL
The peptide amount in the vial, divided by the bacteriostatic water you added, gives you mg per mL.
02
volume = dose ÷ concentration
Your desired dose (converted to mg) divided by the concentration gives the volume you need to draw.
03
units = volume × 100
A U-100 insulin syringe reads 100 units per mL, so the volume in mL times 100 is the number on the barrel.
FAQ

Common questions

Does this calculator recommend a dose?–
No. It only converts the numbers you enter (vial amount, water and desired dose) into concentration, volume and syringe units. It does not suggest what your dose should be.
What if my result shows "—"?+
That means one of the fields is empty or zero, so there isn't enough information to calculate a result yet. Fill in all three fields to see your numbers.
What does "exceeds one syringe" mean?+
A standard U-100 insulin syringe holds up to 100 units (1 mL). If your draw volume works out to more than that, the calculator flags it so you know a single syringe won't hold the full amount.
Educational use only. This calculator performs arithmetic on the values you enter and does not recommend a dose, vial size or schedule. It is not medical advice. Referenced peptides are for research and educational purposes only.
